What is Teamwork
July 24, 2009
This week at Camp Annapolis, the Explorers camp will be blogging answers to questions posed to them at the beginning of each day. They can answer the question through:

I think that teamwork is when you are playing a sport or doing something in groups and you help each other out. For example, if you were playing a sport, if you did good teamwork, then you could pass the ball or something like that and score a point. So the bottom line is that teamwork involves people helping each other out.
-Katie
Teamwork is helping and being supportive for other people. For example, if you were making something, you would all do something to support it, or help do something to contribute, and work together.

Responsibility is when you are trusted in doing an important job. I have a couple responsibilities, too. I have to: give food and water to our cat, our dog, and our hamster; I have to feed our fish, and I have to clean the fish tank(s) and hamster cage.
-Mary
Responsibility is being responsible and mature. To be responsible, you have to be a good example for people who look up to you, and follow through with your promises and what you’re told to do. Read farther to see some examples.
Examples: If you and your friends are having a picnic at the park, and go to throw your trash away but there’s no trashcan, if you were responsible, you would take care of that situation by waiting to throw it away until you find a trashcan, instead of throwing it on the ground.
You should be the #1
-Simone
I think that responsibility is when you help somebody or something. For example, if you want to save something, try to save the environment: Recycle, ride your bike to school, or take a bus around town. Anything that can take pollution out of the air, or anything like that.
If you wanted to help someone, do them a favor and if that person threw a piece of trash on the ground, pick it up. That is a way to stop pollution in the earth. So try some of these things and we can have a better, safer enviorment.
-Katie
Responsibility is a job that someone trusts you to do like recycling or helping your parents by doing chores. My responsibility is caring for my pets like… giving them food and water making sure that there in there cage (my hamster and my hermit crabs) and also making sure my hermit crabs have been misted.

-Lucy, Gillian, and Zola made the above video. It is an example of how to act resposnsibly.

Campers at Camp Annapolis at St. Anne’s School of Annapolis learned about blogging during their Enter the Blogosphere program. Below is their latest blog.
Music is a form of art, but in sound. People can make music just like they can make art. Here is a music demonstration. It’s Beethoven’s 5th symphony. Beethoven was a famous composer of music and “Beethoven’s 5th Symphony” is very well known and a great example for music.
-Mary
What is music?? Music is an art, an art of creativity there are many different forms of music. One form of music is a song. My favorite song is star wars the main theme. Star Wars the main theme makes me feel excited.
-Ellis
Music is very old and very popular , it has been here for years! Music is all around and it is used in so many ways. Think about is used in school, home, on television , even at toy stores . Music can be whatever you want and wherever you are , music follows you around and will be with you where ever you are.
-Jordan
Music is all round the world. Music is cool. People made music back then and now. Some people put it on youtube so people can see it.
-Zoe
Music is expressing yourself and it helps to let out your inner feelings. You can just have FUN! It makes you HAPPY!
-Simone and Samantha
Music can be your voice it can be someone playing an instrument. Or it can be hitting a pan with a spoon or just simply a wind chime. Here is a song that I think is musically good, and one I enjoy.
-Megan
There are many types of music. Many people from many countries and cultures feel that music is an important part of their ways of life. There are very different types of genres of music: Pop, R&B, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Rap, etc.
These are some groups or people for different types of genres: Pop: Michael Jackson R&B: Rihanna/ Rock: Green Day/Classical: Beethoven/ Jazz: Tony Bennett/ Rap: T-Pain.
The bottom line is that many people like many different types of music. And let me tell you that there are a lot of types of music. That is what I think that part of music is.

ELLIS: What is friendship?? Friendship is when people bond and talk together and coordinate.

ELLIS: What I think is fun is the video game pokemon pearl. In the video game pokemon Pearl your goal is to complete the sinnoh pokedex and to become the strongest Pokemon trainer. Once you complete the sinnoh pokedex you’ll get the national pokedex. Once you complete the national pokedex, you’ve beaten the game.
JOYNER: I think football is fun because you get to run, and play, and throw the ball.
MARY: One thing that I think is fun is going to the pet store with my dad. I love to look at all the animals there. (I like looking at the small fishes like the guppies the most.) And I go there a lot to get supplies for my hamster. I’m hoping to get an aquarium for some guppies soon!
COLIN: What is fun? Well in my mind fun is what anyone thinks what they really want to do. Fun is what anyone would think it is. So it’s what you think it is pretty much.
Our Camp Director thinks the photo below illustrates “Fun.”
